Schools can pay by invoice.
If you are buying resources on behalf of a Local Authority backed school, or educational institution, then you may be able to set-up your account on credit terms (30 days from date of invoice).
If you would like to register as a Local Authority backed school or educational institution, please email us so that we can set-up your credit account.
In the mean time feel free to browse and add items to your basket while waiting for your account confirmation. You won't be able to complete an order until your account has been activated, unless you pay by card.
Card Payments
If you have registered as a Private Customer, you are not able to open a credit account and must pay using one of our accepted payment methods.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express payments from customers worldwide
If you are unable to pay by one of the above methods, it is possible to pay by BACS bank transfer or cheque.
How to minimise the risk of authorisation being refused by your card issuer:
- please ensure your card is in date
- Ensure your card is registered to the billing address.
- For high value purchases we suggest letting your bank know before you purchase.
- If your bank contacts you to do a security check, please call us to let us know and we will retry for authorisation.
I have put in my card details but they aren't being accepted. Why?
You need to make sure that the entered address is exactly the same as the address where the card is registered to.
Another possible reason is that the payment could not be authorised because the necessary funds were not available (note that payment is taken straight away).
